STUFF ABOUT ME:

This is where I'm supposed to write something about myself, but really this ridiculous challenge is not about me at all.  It's about the small miracles Family Reach performs every single day and the families we touch who are dealing with the harsh realities of cancer.

This is really about Zoe.  I'm running this marathon in honor of Zoe and her amazing family.  If you walked into Zoe's hospital room you would be greeted with the sweetest, most sincere and heartfelt "Hiiiiiiii!!!"  She doesn't know you, but she would be so happy to see you!  Zoe just turned 3 years old and she is battling a rare form of brain cancer.  Zoe is going to get me up heartbreak hill and Family Reach is going to help Zoe and her family through brutal cancer treatments and trials.

Please support me, Zoe and countless families who need a utility bill paid to keep their heat on this winter, rent paid to make sure they don't lose their home on top of all they have to worry about and/or grocery gift cards so they can feed their family nutritious food to stay healthy and strong.

Thank you!

Carla

Welcome to Crowdrise vote coming your way :)

Can you help spread joy to VERY deserving children? By donating $20 to Imagine Scholar's student birthday project, you'll produce the purest kind of excitement and a lifelong memory. Our 25 students have never had the chance to celebrate a birthday before, let alone eat cake. With every $20 donation comes photo footage of one of the student's special day :)

Best wishes,
Megan + Imagine Scholar Team

I wanted to send along an initial thank you for supporting my Boston Marathon run.

It was a tough day on the body, but a great day for the spirit. The support that runners got from fans along the route was indescribable. It’s like you are a rock star for a day… albeit a very slow and weary rock star.

The support that I received and continue to receive for Golf Fights Cancer was also overwhelming and inspiring. This year the team of Golf Fights Cancer runners grew to TEN runners… we collectively raised a record $80,000. That money is going to be earmarked for The Hole in the Wall Gang’s Hospital Outreach Program (HOP). Please take 3:48 seconds to watch this video and feel great about how your contribution is going to make a difference in the fight against cancer. http://www.holeinthewallgang.org/page.aspx?pid=559

Thanks to your generosity, we have funded HOP program at one hospital for AN ENTIRE YEAR!!

Golf Fights Cancer was lucky and proud to be a part of the John Hancock Charity Program this year. On the JH Marathon Facebook page, they have a cool feature where you can describe your marathon experience in 26 words and share it with others. To that end, I am happy to share my 26 Words with you, my generous marathon benefactors: “Boston Marathon is a shared ritual that builds community, deepens friendships, and engenders confidence. The experience strengthens bonds, spotlights character, reveals generosity, and affirms the spirit”.

Thanks for being a part of my Boston Marathon experience and helping me win the day. I appreciate your generosity, value your friendship and thank you for making a difference with Golf Fights Cancer.

Best regards,

Brian
