A Place Called Home is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where underserved youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, arts, and well-being; and are inspired to make a meaningful difference in their community and the world.
Please sponsor A Place Called Home during the LA Marathon on March 18th and/or the Charity 5k on March 17th as we raise funds for our education and arts enrichment programs. APCH will support your efforts by:
· Providing a Personal Fundraising page on Crowdrise;
· Cheering and support on the 5K Race Day;
· Team picnic in the park after the (5K) race;
Incentives for fundraising:
Raise $250 and receive an A Place Called Home T-shirt;
Raise $1,500 and we will reimburse your registration fee (and receive a T-shirt);
Raise $2,500 and earn a massage from Burke Williams Spa
