HERE'S THE STORY:
WANT TO BE A PART OF HISTORY IN THE MAKING...JOIN TEAM ANGELA!
Angela is an incredible woman with Down syndrome who wants to accomplish something few people can say they have ever done, she wants to RUN/WALK A MARATHON, YES the full 26.2 miles.
It all started with her brother Joseph coming home and asking if Angela wanted to be the first woman with Down syndrome to run a marathon. From that point on she was part of the marathon and started with a walking DVD and walks at the park. Angela's Sister is planning on being right at her side the whole way and she has the love and support from each and every family member and she takes one step closer to her goal of completing a marathon.
Angela loves being a part of ARC. Her Favorite things about ARC are friends, chime choir, going to the park, computer class, & bowling.
