When the runners in the 116th annual Boston Marathon lace up for their 26.2 mile trek from Hopkinton to Boston on April 16, among them will be an athletic group of John Hancock employees pounding the pavement on behalf of Artists For Humanity!
Artists For Humanity is honored that John Hancock, the principal sponsor of the marathon since 1986, chose AFH as one of its 2011 Boston Marathon Non-Profit partners and is continuing their support this year.
With your support and the hard work and dedication of the John Hancock employees who have chosen Artists For Humanity, an ever-growing corps of talented and hard-working young artists will continue to find a creative forum for their voice, the respect and responsibility that comes from having a job, and the mentoring relationships so important to teens. Twenty-six point two miles is a long way, and we appreciate every fast step taken in support of our teen artists.
