Team Baldwin is proud to be among the official charity partners for the 2012 ING New York City Marathon, to be held November 4, 2012. This is our first year being involved with ING Marathon, so please join us for a great cause and request an application @ TeamBaldwin@findacure.org. The fundraising commitment is $3,000.00. You will receive a guaranteed entry, training support, and an official team uniform. I understand that if my fundraising requirement is not met, my credit card will be charged the remaining balance on or after November 4, 2012
The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, Inc. will support both new and established researchers at University Hospital and Medical Center at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and other outstanding Academic Institutions, investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.This research will include-but not be limited to-studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer; application of the knowledge thus gained to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness for the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer; and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection and treatment on the patient, their families and society.
