HERE'S THE STORY:
For more than 34 years, the Fulfillment Fund has been dedicated to providing first-generation, low-income students in Los Angeles with the support necessary to graduate from high school, earn a college degree and become productive and successful members of society.
Through classroom instruction, college counseling, mentoring and scholarships, the Fund transforms the lives of students. Whereas the overall high school graduation rate among LAUSD students is only 55 percent, Fulfillment Fund students graduate high school at a rate of more than 91 percent and, of those who graduate, 93 percent go on to college.
The Fulfillment Fund is excited to have been selected as an Official Charity of the 2012 Honda LA Marathon.
