THE STORY:
This is my first time running ANY race, and I am very happy to be doing it while raising money and awareness for a great cause! Please take a moment to read about the HOPE program below and see how they are empowering people to transcend the root causes of poverty and helping them find full time employment.
TEAM HOPE PROGRAM
Disadvantaged New Yorkers dedicate hundreds of hours to rebuilding their lives through training and employment. Together, we will run hundreds of miles to support them.
For nearly 30 years, HOPE has transformed the lives of New Yorkers living in poverty by giving them the skills and confidence to get good jobs and climb the career ladder. Macquarie has been a proud partner of HOPE, providing jobseekers with mock one-on-one interviews, career advice and encouragement, interview clothing, and on-the-job training. Now, we're logging miles to change hundreds more lives!
