Dale, Bob and I had a good day today even with the heat. My time was 04:06:18. Now, let's take out those dams!

THE STORY:
It is with great pride that I am running in the Boston Marathon 2012 with Team Penobscot, in an effort to raise funds for the Penobscot River Restoration Project.
The Penobscot River has been central to my personal journey as a tribal member of the Penobscot Indian Nation. Now, to have an opportunity to see fish migrations restored through the removal of two dams and creation of new fish passage at a third dam, it’s like a dream come true.
So, I’m going to put a lot of training and sweat into this run. Every step I take in Boston will be with the intention of supporting the river restoration and representing the Penobscot people. And I hope you will be a part of this.
Please sponsor Team Penobscot to help us raise funds for the restoration. Together, we can restore one piece of creation back to its original intent in a way that is good for everyone—for all that walks, crawls, swims, flies, grow and flows. Thank you!
