SOUTH SHORE HOSPITAL INC wrote -
South Shore Hospital, a dynamic, growing regional medical center founded in 1922, exists to benefit the 750,000 residents of Southeastern Massachusetts by promoting good health, and by healing, caring and comforting. As the largest hospital in the region and the 7th largest in Massachusetts, South Shore Hospital receives over 400,000 patient visits each year. Patients and their families have access to the most advanced medical care through the Hospital’s longstanding clinical affiliations with Children’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital. With the help of dedicated South Shore Hospital employees, volunteers, patients, and donors, Team South Shore Hospital runners will fundraise to directly support cancer care, neonatal care, cardiovascular care, home health care and orthopedic care.
