Team Tusk USA London Marathon
THE STORY:

The Virgin London Marathon, one of the five World Marathon Majors, has been an inspiring display of camaraderie and determination since its inception in 1981. More recently, the London Marathon has grown to become a very effective platform for charity fundraising. Today, about 75% of runners are supporting a worthy cause and charity organizations provide over one third of total entries to the race. Come race day, London Marathoners can be seen wearing all sorts of costumes and signs promoting their cause.
The fundraising power of this event is record-breaking. The 2008 London Marathon raised $61.8 million, surpassing its own 2007 Guinness world record, making it the largest single annual fundraising event in the world
The Virgin London Marathon now offers places to about 1,300 charities and Tusk has been lucky enough to receive about 40 of these valuable slots. With a team of able runners and an honorable cause, we hope to use this race as a vehicle for change. Please help us reach our fundraising goals and cheer for Team Tusk USA as we run for African conservation this April.
