THE STORY:
Please join me in supporting a cause important to me. For every $1000 I can raise, I will get another chance to win a trip for two to join a volunteer expedition to Rwanda in 2012. I really want to go!
Here are the basics: Water For People works to build a world where all people have access to safe drinking water and sanitation, and where no one suffers or dies from a water- or sanitation-related disease. This is our vision.
To one in seven people worldwide, getting water is backbreaking, life-threatening work. And drinking that water will likely make them sick, or die.

It’s simple: Be part of the Donate to Drink $2 Million Challenge. Several donors have pledged $1 million and challenged Water For People to raise another $1 million. From September 1 until October 31, 2011, your impact will be doubled.
