THE STORY:
Hi all!!!! I am pledging to raise $100 and to walk 100 miles in March 2012! Cancer has taken so many lives and instead of sitting around cursing its name, I joined my sister-in-law and her sisters in this fight to raise awareness as well as money for the research. 1 in 6 men will get Prostate Cancer, a man is 35% more likely to get Prostate Cancer than a woman to get Breast Cancer. No one talks about it and it doesn't get the same support that Breast Cancer does. We are trying to change that!!!
My amazing sister-in-law AND her sister have come together with Team Winter. Their father has stage IV Prostate Cancer. I have seen the struggles and harships that come to him daily and it has changed his life as well as his daughter's lives dramatically.
