The Great Painted Paw Brigade
THE STORY:
The Great Painted Paw Brigade is a public art installation culminating in an auction to deliver artist-crafted cat and dog sculptures to the highest bidder. The Paw Brigade is the first project of its kind in the Lower Hudson Valley. North Rockland Rowing Club is in need of sponsors for each sculpture. Funds go toward purchasing the unfinished cat and dog sculptures. A portion of the proceeds from the project are shared with Hi-Tor Animal Care Center.
Why the Paw Brigade?
The Brigade will bring a diverse community together to celebrate the artistic talent and camaraderie within the Hudson Valley and beyond. The event has the potential to draw attention to your organization or business by appealing to visitors and residents from throughout the region.
Who Benefits?
Our local artists, some of which are high school and college students as well as practicing and retired art teachers, will showcase their work. Sponsors gain brand recognition. The North Rockland Rowing Club and the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center will receive much needed funds to continue providing the essential services that the broader community has come to rely upon.
