THE STORY:
On this day, with every step you walk, you will directly help a child who is battling cancer. We welcome everyone to lace up your shoes and walk together as a community for children with cancer. The fun-filled event takes place on Saturday, September 15, 2012 beginning at the 69th street pier in Bay Ridge all the way to the Verrazano Bridge. Muster will begin with pre-walk and warm- up festivities. Everyone,of EVERY age is invited to walk, obtain sponsors and have a great time! You can walk solo, with a friend or even create your own team of family and friends. This coming September of 2012 marks five years that Frankie Loccisano lost his life to cancer. Now, in his name and memory, we will raise funds and awareness to help families and children who are fighting the same illness. Join us and help to make a real and true difference!
