HERE'S THE STORY:
This November, The Panhellenic Association of UC San Diego, which represents and comprises all of the women's sororities on UC San Diego's campus will be holding its first ever Dance Marathon. The students and faculty of UC San Diego, as well as individuals living in the San Diego community will dance for twelve hours straight at the Loft on UC San Diego's campus. The date of this event is November 12 of this year, and this planned event is intended to raise money for the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation Inc. of which the Panhellenic Association is very privileged to be partnered with. The Circle of Sisterhood Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization that creates scholarships for under privileged women around the world who suffer from poverty and oppression. The Panhellenic Association hopes to raise at least a few thousand dollars from this Dance Marathon event, and one hundred percent of the money raised will be given to the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation Inc.
