THE STORY:
ULI Foundation Disaster Relief Fund wrote -
ULI has a long history of assisting communities in the aftermath of disasters, and we recognize that timing is important: immediate relief and recovery efforts and critical infrastructure repairs come first.
At the appropriate time, ULI has stood ready to lend its expertise to help in the rebuilding process. That expertise has taken the form of pro bono advisory services panel engagements that bring together experts from across the spectrum of the land use industry for the purpose of providing comprehensive and pragmatic recommendations and solutions that communities can implement in their rebuilding efforts.
The ULI Disaster Relief Fund, supported by member contributions, needs another $1 million to make possible the advisory services engagements planned for needy communities this year. These engagements show ULI at its best—members making a visible difference in the communities that need our assistance most.
