Imagine not flushing the toilet for 2 days because there is no water!
Imagine having to drink Coke in place of safe water!
That’s what many Oaxacan families resort to.
Ines Barroso is a new community partner with Water for Humans and INSO. She lives in the Santa Lucia del Camino district of Oaxaca City and wrote to us asking for our help in solving her neighborhood’s chronic water shortage problem.
Ines's letter, in part, stated: "Due to population growth, last year during the dry season, most residences received water only two times per week for a few hours per day. AND the water…is not potable.”
