As we look towards the future, the Wildlife In Need Center hopes to remain a valuable resource to the communities that we serve and beyond. One way that we hope to do this is through the creation of an educational book featuring our wildlife animal ambassadors as well as the natural history of their wild counterparts. As we've proven through our educational programming itself, making a personal connection with these animals helps to put a face on conservation.Collaborating with Rebecca Mattano, a dedicated supporter, author, and owner of the publishing company The Little Environmentalists, we hope to use this book not only within our educational instruction but also as a promotional and outreach tool to reach more children and populations with our message of shared responsibility for our wild neighbors.
