BENEFITING: GARRISON INSTITUTE
Front line service providers working in highly stressful environments, such as those doing relief and refugee work, oftentimes do not have access to the tools needed to build and practice resiliency on a daily basis. This can lead to increases in anxiety, depression, and other emotional distress, which can ultimately limit their ability to do this critical work over the long-term.
Here is an opportunity to fund the design of a wellness toolkit for relief workers around the world. IDEO.org and the Garrison Institute seek to create a scaleable series of technology aided tools that will allow frontline staff across the world to access inner-resiliency building tools where and when they need them. IDEO.org will employ a human-centered approach to understand frontline staffs’ needs, desires, and day-to-day experiences, and in collaboration with the Garrison Institute build technology-aided applications for use in the field.
With your help, we can reach thousands of relief workers on the front lines who are struggling with stress, burnout and trauma. Please support our project to build inner resilience tools for front-line international humanitarian aid workers.
