I am honored to be the first Saudi to go to Singularity University, and hoping to learn about future technologies of Energy and Environmental Systems to find new a cheap ways to produce fresh water using solar energy.
Why Singularity University Graduate Program?
There are a lot of reasons why you would support the Singularity University Graduate Program, here are some of my views:
- It is a 10 week intensive program (We Eat & Sleep in the University)
- It is located inside NASA Ames Research Center.
- Thousands of Students apply every year, and only 80 are selected to go there.
- They have a Faculty of 65 of the world’s TOP scientists living with us there for the full 10 weeks.
- The Program is about interdisciplinary multi cultural thinking.
- And my favorite: The objective of the projects we work on during the program is positively impacting the lives of 1,000,000,000 human in 10 Years.
Why me?
- First to Translate TED into Arabic and was the #1 Global TED most active translator for 14 weeks.
- Hosted TEDx event in KAU.
- Managed Saudi eSports teams since 2004 and managed to achieve World Champion title in 2005. And Saudi has been ranked in the TOP 8 countries in eFootball throughout my career.
- Have diverse interests and knowledge, from a published paper on Science and religion to working projects on redesigning the education system & solar desalination.
- Serial Entrepreneur: Started “INC” my first real business during collage that provided computer networking solutions to SMBs, established E2T the first company in the Middle East specialized in eSports, established “Jeddah Stars” the first eSports club in Saudi, founded eSIF (Electronic Sports International Federation), developed “PRania.com” a Public Relations media reporting tool.
