HERE'S THE STORY:
To address the extreme lack of curators of Asian American Women in the Arts, AAWAA's Emerging Curators Program provides a platform for emerging curators residing in the San Francisco Bay Area to develop their vision and voice, encouraging curatorial expertise in the Asian American community.
Emerging Curators Program is aimed at providing vehicles for emerging and established curators to develop the vision and encourage curatorial expertise in Asian American Art. This program will help to grow the number of opportunities to showcase and document the work byAsian American artists, ensuring the Asian American cultural legacy. We look to generate dialog and familiarity between curators and Asian American women in the arts
Adopt our Emerging Curator Program to ensure our Asian American place in the Art History books and Arts Institutions. We can not do this without your support.
