For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed helping people and animals.
When I was in middle school, a group of friends and I raised money to help a family who lived in our neighborhood after they lost their home to a fire. Since then, I've been really involved in charity work.
I may only be able to contribute small amounts, but I believe that even the smallest effort can make a difference. Whether it be a smile for someone who's been having a hard day, a kind word, or a donation to a charity - everything matters. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." I believe in that quote so much that I had it tattooed on my back!
While causes that relate to animals have a special place in my heart, I'm also very passionate about the environment and helping people in poverty.
Here are some organizations that I've supported/volunteered for:
PETA
Habitat For Humanity
Coastal Cleanup
JDRF
The Red Cross
Delaware Reforestation (Acorn Collection Day)
Operation Christmas Child
Greenpeace
ASPCA
The Humane Society of The United States
UNICEF
Defenders Of Wildlife
The Susan G. Komen Foundation
The Humane League of Maryland
When I'm not volunteering, I'm an independent film actress, and I work for Ojas Wellness Center & Anthropologie.
