HERE'S THE STORY:
Advent typically refers to the period of time leading up to Christmas, beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving. But what used to be a joyous time of year, has quickly turned into stress, traffic jams, credit card debt, and gift returns.
Consider this: It would take $3.2 billion/year to end hunger for every school-age child. Americans spend $450 billion every year on Christmas alone. Can you see what could happen if we spent just a little less? Do your loved ones really need another sweater or random gift certificate? In lieu of one of "those" gifts, give them a gift that will really matter!
While we fight for a parking spot at the mall, 1 child dies every 5 seconds from hunger-related causes. Help us provide rice-based meals specifically designed for children suffering from extreme malnutrition for only 24 cents each! (Learn more: Food 4others)
It's simple: Give one less gift, make a donation in someone's name to provide meals for children, send them an e-card to tell them about it, and fight poverty.
This year's goal: $8,800.00 to feed a village of 100 people for 1 year!
- $24 = Feed 100 children
- $44 = Feed 1 child for 6 months (See 3rd pic)
- $88 = Feed 1 child for 1 year
Simply click the "Donate" button, input the amount you'd like to give, and then check the box that says "Yes, this is a Gift and I’d like to send an e-Card.” It's way cooler than getting them that sweater they won't like or a random gift certificate!

100% of all donations received will go directly to giving meals to starving children through our Food 4others MobilePack Event and partnership with FMSC.
