About AWDF Inc USA

AWDF-USA is a network of dynamic and selfless women in the United States, joining forces to help women and children in need. Our key focus is to bring about sustainable development to under served communities.

AWDF is a non-profit, charitable organization with 501c 3 tax exempt status, registered in the State of Georgia, USA.

At AWDF Inc, we consider women as the fabric and backbone of society with great potential and a major role to play in their communities in Africa, America and globally.  We welcome good will Ambassadors: All women determined to make a difference.

AWDF-USA has set up Action Committees with key Focus areas, we encourage all women to come on board and be part of the Action for change.

AWDF-USA is  project driven.  Although our initiatives and projects are led by women, We also have very strong support from men who share and believe in the mission and vision of the foundation.

African Women’s Development Foundation Inc USA (AWDF) is a non-profit 501c-3 organization registered with the State of Georgia, founded on the basis of advancing the causes for African Women and children World wide. At AWDF we envision a future for Africa and the global community where women and children can be empowered to prosper and realize their full potential through sustainable growth and development. African Women's Development Foundation was founded in 2005 by Lady Kate Njeuma as a tribute to her mother Mrs Annastasia Asong Atabong, a strong and dynamic African woman whose life is not only dedicated to her five children but to her community. Inspired by her mother to continue the legacy of service, Lady Kate Njeuma believes its a gift from God.
