So I do not like to run...at all...never did...probably never will. However, I am challenging myself to complete the 2012 Marathon. A close friend told me recently that 2012 will be a year of completions for me. In 2012, I will be graduating with my Masters of Science in Counseling, specializing in Career Counseling. Therefore, running the marathon would be another huge accomplishment to add to my 2012 list of completions.
Equally important, is running this marathon for Beit T'Shuvah. Beit T'Shuvah helped me recover my life and to find new meaning and purpose in it. In March 2012 I will have 5 years clean and sober. As a result, I have been working at Beit T'Shuvah in the Career Center, helping others create a future for themselves through career and/or education.
Being involved in Beit T'Shuvah's project to raise money, helping to move forward its mission to save souls, is an awesome feeling and experience! I am very excited to be a part of the 2012 Beit T'Shuvah Marathon Team.
