AMERICA SCORES
Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
Founded in 2001, America SCORES Bay Area empowers students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. With teamwork as the unifying value, the goal of America SCORES is that youth are inspired to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world. America SCORES Bay Area began its first year of programming with 150 youth in five schools in San Francisco and has grown to offer programs to 1,000 youth in San Francisco and West Contra Costa counties.

Some of our upcoming events:
Spring Jamboree - America SCORES students participate in a final soccer tournament and celebration with all participating schools. America SCORES staff, family members and volunteers serve food, attend award ceremonies, and cheer on their young athletes at this culminating event.
SCORES CUP - The SCORES CUP is a charity soccer tournament that brings together more than 300 employees from top Bay Area companies for a fun day of soccer, networking, and team building.
The Legacy Awards - In recognition of America SCORES Bay Area’s tenth year anniversary we created an event to celebrate our success and acknowledge those that have made it possible.
Inspired Art - Inspired Art brings together a large group of passionate and creative people looking to highlight youth voice, creative expression, and local art. Interested artists choose from America SCORES poet-athletes’ original works of poetry and create a piece of art from that inspiration. America SCORES staff hosts a live auction event to showcase these special art pieces.
Field Day - America SCORES staff and school-site personnel serve as facilitators while 20-30 employees from a local organization team-up and run an after-school festival with fun games and activity stations for America SCORES youth.
