Each year on the first Sunday in May, tens of thousands of riders head out for a 42-mile cycling tour of the five boroughs of New York City on car-free roads.
This year, there will be a special group of Angels on Wheels among those riders. These Angels have generously decided to dedicate their time and resources to ride on behalf of Team Angelwish in the 2012 edition of the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour.
Support our Angels on Wheels as they ride to improve the lives of chronically ill children in need! Choose a team member below to help them reach their fundraising goal.

About Angelwish:
Angelwish is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for underserved children living with chronic illnesses. Founded in 1999 as a unique solution to meet the needs of thousands of HIV/AIDS infected and affected children, Angelwish expanded it's mission in 2010 to include children living with chronic illnesses. Children with chronic illnesses (including HIV/AIDS, diabetes, asthma, sickle cell disease, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, and kidney disease, among others) are all too often robbed of the joy their childhoods should contain as their conditions often require frequent medical treatment and/or hospitalization. Angelwish works to counteract this by providing holiday and birthday gifts and other forms of psychosocial support. When possible, we look to create the most value from every donation by including an educational aspect to teach schoolchildren about philanthropy and giving back.
