Last year, when SUBWAY® restaurants Jared “The SUBWAY guy” Fogle, finished his first NYC Marathon he challenged all of the Famous Fans of SUBWAY® restaurants to take the reins and follow in his footsteps. Apolo Ohno, the most decorated American Winter athlete of all time was the first and only to accept his challenge. For the past six months Ohno’s been vigorously training to compete in the longest race of his life.
SUBWAY® restaurants hope to inspire million of people at all levels-- from those who train and participate in this world-renowned marathon to countless others who incorporate running into their health and fitness regimens.
SUBWAY® restaurants and Apolo Ohno have also teamed up with the Special Olympics to make a donation if Ohno finishes the race in less than four hours. Help cheer him on and make a donation to the Special Olympics, no donation is too small.
