Asha Mission Society is an evangelical mission committed solely to the support of international outreaches. Asha Mission Society holds firmly to the following beliefs:
As true Christ’s ambassadors, we do not believe in using coercion or heavy persuasion with those we minister to, but instead believe in freely offering Christ’s love and humanitarian relief to as many as possible without preference, conditions, or discrimination.
Asha Mission Children’s Home is a registered non-for profit, based out of Ft. Myers, Florida. We currently have three operating children’s homes. In Delhi, we care for 30-40 orphaned and abandoned children from the Delhi and Bihar regions of India. The Delhi home is run by a dedicated Godly couple, with the help of two other assistant staff. In Kolkata, currently we have two homes, one in Kolkata proper at Bharasat, and one in a village an hour away, managed by a couple as well.
The goal of Asha Mission is to provide a place of refuge and care to children who have never known a stable home environment. By way of education, access to healthcare, spiritual development, and a consistent source of nutrition, the children are finding stability and opportunities which they have never known prior to Asha Mission.
Our goal is to maintain a family- like environment through the leadership of a Godly married couple and not to exceed forty to fifty children per home. Through this set up, each child will have the opportunity to be individually known and cared for according to their own needs and personalities. As we become more established financially, our desire is to continue expanding. Our hope is to have many Asha Mission Children’s Homes established throughout India, and through their work see the lives of children transformed and renewed.
