STUFF ABOUT ME:
I work really hard every day to help people make changes in their lives to become better individuals and better citizens. In my personal life, I enjoy all types of outdoor hobbies, including hiking, cycling, and being in or around any type of water. Recently, I read an article about Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols helping raise money through this site to assist individuals affected by the BP oil spill on the Gulf Coast. I realized that I was doing a great deal to help people but nothing to enrich the nature side of the world in which we live. Being from Alabama, I thought this site and the projects Sophia and Austin were working with would be a great place to begin my work.
Through my professional work, I have seen a lot of individuals and families that are working extremely hard to make ends meet but often go without life sustaining things, like food. I've seen parents make the ultimate sacrifices and not eat just so their children could. In this great country, it is heartbreaking to me that there are individuals that go hungry because they cannot afford something that many of us often take for granted - food. Hence, the fourth project added on my list.
If you can contribute money, thank you. I am grateful that you are willing to go without something in your life to give to these great causes. WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
I have no fancy ideas that I can change the world by myself. I can, however, do my part and ask and inspire others to contribute with me. And I'll vote for you if you vote for me...that's probably the best part. :)
