We want to raise $5,000 here on Crowdrise to fund a portion of the Dr. Jesse Bemley Scholarships that will be given out next year at the 2012 BDPA Technology Conference in Baltimore MD. These college scholarships make a difference for high school students who have expressed interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)!
We gave out 25 Bemley Scholarships in 2011 to high school students from Rochester (MN), Detroit (MI), Columbus (OH), Atlanta (GA) and Twin Cities (MN). There are students from over 40 cities around the country competing for the Bemley Scholarship in 2012.
