STUFF ABOUT ME:
It's me, Kristina, living in Germany now since I'm 6. Before I spent the kiddie years in Seattle, WA. Thanks to my parents they choose to settle up in Seattle, because i love this town.. it's so nearby the mountains and the big sea.. this is why i love the nature!
But whatever.. now I live in Germany, luckily in Kiel, which is on the water side, too, the Baltic Sea. So I have spent my life living at the water.
Just a month ago I spent my summer in Togo/Westafrica. It was my first time in Africa, and it was very experienceful. My "stepfather" is coming from there but lives in Germany now. So i had a chance to get to know his family and a lot of African people.. it's so interesting how they can live so easily.. without lights in the dark, no computers, and so on..
And for me it was special to visit a deaf school there because I'm deaf, too. They dont have the possible I have here in Germany. I can go to school and university, have a apprenticeship and can wear hearing aids.. what they cant. They need a lot of money for this.. it's a pity!
My mom, me and some of our friends founded an association for women and girls from Togo, who got left from their husbands moving to Europe and America to have a job and earn money. This summer we helped them to build a chicken farm so they can raise money for having their kids going to school and so on. (too bad i cant add it here on crowdrise)
So this is why I am here.. to help people what they need and to help the nature for keep still alive!!!
