Brandi Roman's Fundraiser:
Climbing for Parkinson's
Brandi
HERE'S THE STORY:
I was diagnosed with "Young Onset" Parkinson's Disease at the age of 25. My goal is to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's disease research through physical activity. This year (August 2010) I, with the help of some close friends, climbed the highest mountain in Montana, Granite Peak (elevation 12,799ft.) Granite Peak is arguably one the most difficult "state highpoint" ascents. Next year we hope to conquer The Grand Teton or Gannett Peak (both in Wyoming) in efforts to raise awareness!
