HERE'S THE STORY:
UPDATE:
In just a few short weeks, I will be running a 5.5 mile leg in the PIttsburgh Marathon for PULSE. It will be the longest run I have ever done in my life!
I am commited to raising the last $1,025 of my $3000 goal to the PULSE Bricks campaign, and I need your help.
If we reach the goal by the Marathon (May 6th) I will reveal my most embarassing elementary school picture.
I pinky-swear promise that it is snort-worthy!
PULSE is making waves in Pittsburgh... the program brings all kinds of awesome people to the city who are doing amazing things.
Please join me in supporting PULSE! Let's do this.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
As many of you know, the PULSE program was a big part of my decision to move to Pittsburgh in 2005.
I'm teaming up with PULSE to raise support for the program's expansion. This fall, PULSE will be adding an additional house in the neighborhood of Garfield!
I'm asking you to join us in "Building Community: Brick by Brick" by purchasing a $20 brick (or 3...or 5!). Bricks will be used to create a patio at the current PULSE house to signify PULSE's growth.
I've set a personal goal to help raise $3000 towards PULSE's $16,000 overall goal. I hope you will join me in purchasing some bricks!
I am so grateful for what I learned and received in my year as a PULSE participant: professional, spiritual and leadership development, the importance of serving the community and encouragement to take initiative and get involved. I even learned how to cook for 8 people!
With your help, many more college graduates will continue to experience the benefits of this awesome program. Your support will help bring more young energy to the city of Pittsburgh. (I can't read that last sentence without smiling!)
Many thanks,
Kate
