Education & Empowerment
We aim to equip disenfranchised and stateless Shan Burmese communities with the skills, knowledge, and education that will enable them to improve their lives now, and for many years to come.
We're a non-profit organization operating in Northern Thailand, where we really want to make a positive impact on the lives of the Shan refugees living there. They've fled from their homes in Burma, and since then they've been struggling to have access to basic services like sanitation, medicine, and education.
We want to change that, and we've already made a lot of progress.
So this is how we're doing it:
• Offering after-school English tutoring for Shan youth.
• Providing scholarships for promising stateless Burmese students.
• Running a rigorous and diverse international Montessori school.
