The Story

It's so amazing to see all the support we're getting for the new park. Burton Elementary kids and parents and faculty have rallied together to help us raise over $30k for the new park in only a couple of months. Amazing, Right?

There's still much to do though and we need your help!

Our mission is to create a play space for all children of this community to explore and enjoy, one that enriches the quality of life for students, residents and visitors alike, and preserves it for future generations. The redesigned playground will be a space that provides the opportunity for the visitor to practice healthy lifestyles, engage in educational and recreational opportunities, and encourage public participation with respect and compassion.

Join the Friends of Burton Community Park to raise money to build a fabulous new universal design playground for the kids of Burton Elementary School and the City of Huntington Woods.
