We curate content and event experiences that we believe allow us to shift the conversation about birth, our bodies, and our health. April 16th, we hosted the East Coast premiere of Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein's incredible film- More Business of Being Born in New York City. As part of our mission to educate, and inspire others and help spread the message about Ricki and Abby's work we deceided to host a virtual fundraiser to mobilize grassroots support in getting Ricki and Abby's landmark documentary- The Business of Being Born into classrooms.

The Business of Being Born, has been adapted into a 30-minute version for university and college classrooms to encourage students to question the current maternity care system in America. The Business of Being Born: Classroom Edition (BoBB:CE) reaches out to young adults BEFORE they confront their own birth decisions—challenging the prevailing assumptions about birth providers and current obstetrical management trends. In partnership with Choices in Childbirth, the goal is for the next generation of parents to approach birth decisions with awareness and confidence and empower the next generation of parents to seek out normal birth, systemic change and new policies supporting maternity care in the United States.
