Did you know when cancer is found early, 90% survive? So why are people still dying due to late stage diagnosis? At Cancer Schmancer, we’re fighting cancer a different way: early.
There are brilliant, dedicated minds and money committed to finding the cure for cancer. And we sure hope they find it soon. But we’re NOT waiting. We have the power to SAVE LIVES TODAY, RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND through early detection.
Pure and simple, when you are educated and empowered with the right knowledge, tools, and questions, you take control of your health for the best possible outcome.
Led by actress and uterine cancer survivor, Fran Drescher, Cancer Schmancer is dedicated to saving women’s lives through early detection of cancer. As women are the caregivers and the gatekeepers to her family’s health, at all costs we must keep her alive and healthy.
So we educate women on cancer prevention and early detection, partner with local, community organizations that provided low-income, uninsured women in need with free cancer screening tests, and advocate that this nation shift its focus from JUST searching to the cure, to early detection.
