At Midnight on Thursday, August 5th - Jeff Magouirk, Katie Raymond and I will leave the beach at Doctor's Cove on Catalina Island off the Southern California coast, and into the cold, choppy seas of the Pacific Ocean. We will attempt to swim to Point Vicente on the mainland, a distance of 21 miles. We estimate it will take us at least 10 hours to finish this swim, but we feel we are well-prepared for success. I am swimming in memory of my father, Reggie Crozier, who passed into Eternity on May 15th, 2009 as a result of his battle with ALS. In his honor, and for those now living with the disease, I am raising funds and awareness in the search for a cure. Thank you for your support!
