Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
Cedars-Sinai is known for providing the highest quality patient care that modern medicine has to offer. The medical center's dedication to compassion, excellence, and innovation is rooted in the Judaic tradition and its devotion to the art and science of healing. This informs every aspect of the institution's four-fold mission:
- Leadership and excellence in delivering quality healthcare services
- Expanding the horizons of medical knowledge through biomedical research
- Educating and training physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Striving to improve the health status of the community
The Cedars-Sinai team lives this mission every day through the contributions of more than 2,000 physicians in every clinical specialty, 10,000 employees, 2,000 volunteers, and 15,000 fundraising support group members. Together, the team provides world-class medicine and healthcare to local patients, the greater Los Angeles community, and patients from across the United States and around the world.
Physicians and scientists at Cedars-Sinai are engaged in basic and clinical research to bring medical advancements from the laboratory to the bedside. As the largest independent academic medical center in the western United States, Cedars-Sinai is also training the next generation of physicians, researchers, and allied health professionals, with more than 350 residents and fellows participating in over 60 graduate medical education programs.
