The money raised will be donated to CHERUBS...the first and largest organization to raise awareness, provide support, and encourage research for the birth defect congenital diaphragmatic hernia or CDH.
CDH affects 1600 babies per year in the US and over 50,000 around the world. Of those, 50% do not survive. There are 4 babies born with CDH every day in the US....2 don't make it. That is a scary number. CDH is not a rare a birth defect (1 in every 2500 births results in a CDH) but very few people have ever heard of it until it affects them directly. Your donation will help change this.
CHERUBS is a volunteer run organization and your donation will allow us to continue providing services to our over 4000 members in over 50 countries.
