I own 2 Iggies right now: Anaïs and Alauda.
They're a breed like no other and I am sad to know that due to their not always easy character & habits, they end up in rescue.
But this goes for any animal. They can't speak for themselves so they need someone to speak for them. If I can help a tiny bit in this, I do. Whether it be a dog, cat, bird or dinosaur. ;)
And remember, an animal is not only for Christmas.
Please, consider getting a pet from a shelter! They need homes too, eventhough they may be sometimes old, abused, previously neglected or a little rough for wear, but they so need all the love they can get. Go for Pet Rescue or Adopting from a shelter! They will forever love you.
I've been diagnosed with Crohn's disease since 1997. Suffered through many surgeries and it's an ongoing battle. I've been actively involved in the Belgian Support Group 'Kronkel" but unfortunately, we had to give up due to lack of interest.
I am still a spokesperson for fellow patients and a contact spot for those who need a bending ear.
