HERE'S THE STORY:
At FACE Africa, we have an ambitious yet simple goal: CLEAN, SAFE DRINKING WATER for every single person in Liberia! We fund and support sustainable clean water, sanitation and hygiene projects through partnerships with local communities, partner organizations and government agencies.
On any given day, millions of Liberians are battling the effects of some kind of waterborne disease. Poor sanitation and bad hygiene cause the deaths of one in five Liberians (WHO). According to a recent CDC report, a necessary starting point in rebuilding the country is to provide access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities. Improving access to clean water is the first line of attack for FACE Africa. By collaborating with local communities, partner organizations and government agencies, our goal is to implement sustainable water projects that help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for the people of Liberia.
