Hey there Danielle, how are you doing? Here is my July vote for you.

I was wondering if you would like to join my fundraiser for The Trevor Project : http://www.crowdrise.com/fundraiserelise/fundraiser/elisemariemyrvangeik this fundraiser was my very first fundraiser on Crowdrise and it means alot to me personally. There are so many teenagers that are struggeling daily with being discriminated for who they are, just because of who they love. This is not right and we need to show the world that equal rights counts for all no matter who we are or what we do in life. No one has the right to judge others. The Trevor Project is the only helpline through telephone for gay teens in all of USA!! and so therefore this is a very important organisasation to support. Where to start.....I am a 22 year old girl who enjoys life and a good laugh. I have a passion for health and also enjoy socialising and helping others, which is why I have decided to pursue a career as a nurse. If I can make a difference to just one persons life, then I will know that I have suceeded.

Anyway...! My sister and I are having a competition to see who can raise the most funds for our charity....so come on guys, help me kick her butt!!!

I am encouraging everybody to donate just ONE DOLLAR to my cause :)

Like many others, I do not have that much to donate to charity (poor uni student right here). However, I have a dollar here and there, and honestly...how much would you miss one measly dollar? It could be the dollar that you put in the parking meter...so why not walk one day and save that dollar for something special? It could be the couple of dollars that you spend on that tenth cup of coffee for the day.... do you really need it? Why not even save a dollar or two by turning off the heater one night and snuggling under a thick blanket on the couch? These are just a few small habits that you can change to save a small amount of money and donate it instead!
