My name is Darryl D. Lassiter, II. I'm CEO and President of an entrepreneur business named Virtue Vending. Virtue Vending is a snack mobile-concession store located in Atlanta, GA. Not only does it provide wonderful, tasty snacks, but it educates you with virtues that will guide you through life such as respectfulness, honesty, humility and joy.
Abraham Lincoln said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” I predict greatness in Botswana’s future. Asa youth ambassador, I want to share the idea of using virtue words in every day conversations to build character in students. I want to create cards and games with virtue words and distribute them throughout the country. Then, Botswana, Africa will be added on the virtue global map as another place we’ve educated. This will create a global expansion of Virtue Vending. The advantage of global business is I will have a larger impact.
When I return to Georgia, I want to continue talks with people in Botswana and connect students in Botswana with students in Georgia. I think it would be great to prepare Georgia students to share virtue words in Africa next year. I would highly appreciate it if you gave me this honor to be a youth ambassador to Botswana.
