NYC Marathon was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy.

I will complete the marathon in Philadelphia on November 18! Thanks for any support you can share.

On November 4, 2012 I'm running the New York City Marathon in memory of my mother, Emily Douglas. Emily passed away in August 2011 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Part of my training and racing plan is to support ovarian cancer research and awareness by fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.

In love for Emily and in the hope that others don't suffer from this illness, I'll be running 26.2 miles that day, and I hope you will help me support this charity.

My goal is to run the marathon in 4 hours, so I am setting my fundraising goal at $4,000.00. If I'm able to run it faster, I hope some of you will kick in more at the appropriate time!
