Good afternoon Team...(afternoon for those of us in the US). We have just started a new Project on crowdrise and would love to have your support. A Tornado has ripped through a western Pennsylvania town and caused great damage to upwards of 90 homes and even completely destroyed some. There are close to a hundred families in that area in need of help right now. Please jump over to our Pennsylvania Tornado Relief Project and help if you can. For those of you in the US, this may be close to home for you. Or you may even live in this town. Please let us know as we will be searching out the families to provide what we can directly to them.

I just wanted to say thank you…

I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you for your loyal support and help in raising funds to send help to the Japanese people. This situation is close to my heart as I lived in Japan for a year back in '91/'92 and gained a first hand knowledge of their land and culture. It is breath taking to view the images of the destruction and I'm sure all of you feel the same when you think "how could you make it through something like this". The scariest thing is that such a disaster could take place in our own homelands. And if it did, we would need the help and encouragement of others to move forward. Please do not give up your efforts. We at WANDAA will continue to raise money to send aid for as long as aid is needed. And that could be for years. Every little bit helps. So please continue to ask for that next donation....whether large or small...it will go to help a victim through this tragedy. Thank you for your help. James Arnott, Executive Director, WANDAA

We are so close to breaking $1…

We are so close to breaking $1000 in donations. The first shipment of water and clothing has been quoted to us at $1200. We can do this. Please spread the word to others. We are so close. I'd love to book the shipment tomorrow morning if possible. We are securing several hundred dollars worth of clothing from our local Goodwill store along with our stock of Wandaa t-shirts long and short. We should have three pallets of bottled water in the warehouse that will join this shipment. We have several airlines that have all offered us cargo space to send these items. We are in contact with several news stations in the effected areas and will be delivering our relief items directly to them for distribution. Please help people!!! We almost have this first shipment covered.

Your commitment to the environment is awesome and I just voted for you 'cuz I'm a sucker for my fellow nature fans. So I'm wondering - what are you doin' for St. Patrick's Day?

Before donning your party frocks, I'd like to ask you to think about what you'll spend for your night on the town and match those funds with a donation to The Nature Conservancy. Or consider staying in that night and donating the money you would have spent - you could even host and get all your buddies together and have them donate what they would have spent out.
