The person who created this page is probably preparing something riveting to post about everything they're doing to give back. We recommend you sit at your computer and hit refresh over and over until their story goes live. You should also scroll down and see if they have a fundraiser going so you can support 'em.
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:

September vote for you! Here in Amherst, MA we breathed a sigh of relief when Hurricane Irene passed through with minimal damage. Other communities were not so lucky.
High in the Adirondacks, the small town of Upper Jay, NY suffered devastating flooding that wiped out their town. Families struggle to piece together their homes, and there is little refuge and comfort.
Public libraries are so essential to the community in times like these, yet for Upper Jay, the entire children’s collection was destroyed by the flooding. Only 5 books survived.
Reader to Reader has pledged to give thousands of books to this library and others who have lost books in the storm. This is the kind of work we do every day from our small office. Please support us with your donations this month to support the libraries and communities who need it most!
If you have any information about other libraries damaged by the storm, please message me with specific details from the library about their wishes and needs. We want to support those that support others, so help us reach out and bring these overburdened libraries some relief!
