THE STORY:
Right now 4 million dogs are put down a year. 4. MILLION. DOGS. This is an absolute outrage!
How do we stop it?
We make sure every single person, dog, living/breathing creature alive knows about www.dogsindanger.com. They have thousands of shelter dog photos from across the country posted on their site with a countdown to when the dog will be put down. They have an 86% success rate and have saved over 35,000 dogs...so I know that if PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT THEM AND THEIR DOGS, they'd save them. People just don't know!
The most important thing is to circulate this EVERYWHERE. And if you'd like to give a contribution, please please do, because the organization is run by all volunteers right now, and if they're going to keep getting more shelters to post photos...or double/triple/quadruple the number of dogs saved every year - THEY REALLY COULD USE YOUR HELP!
