Dunn With Cancer
THE STORY:
My longest known friend, Boise-bred, Amy Dunn was diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma on July 27, 2011. It is her second bout with cancer, originally diagnosed with melanoma and beating it a few short years ago. Her relapse is serious enough that she cannot receive treatment at home in Boise. Instead, she will be cared for at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.
Her insurance recently denied her new treatment option (the one that worked!) and will need support more than ever to ensure she can get the support she needs to fight this vicious disease.
